Our extreme environment stainless steel slides are manufactured from marine grade 316L (1.4404) stainless steel (inox) offering a very high corrosion resistance, including laboratory applications, where standard grade 304 is ineffective.

Our Professional Range of extreme duty telescopic slides has been extended to include all stainless-steel versions. Our extreme environment stainless steel slides are manufactured from marine grade 316L (1.4404) stainless steel (inox) offering a very high corrosion resistance, including laboratory applications, where standard grade 304 is ineffective. The austenitic structure of 316L stainless gives excellent toughness, even at cryogenic temperatures. Due to our flexible production we can offer different temperature grease or ungreased slides for dry rooms if requested at the time of order.

Each beam is milled, the machined ball tracks provide accuracy, making it suitable for mobile diagnostic and laboratory applications where shock and vibration resistance required. Furthermore, mobile deployment units that have external generators fitted require corrosion resistance, the SDTS slides beams are 316L, end stops and cages are 316 to offer suitable and complete corrosion protection in the harshest of environments.
