The Sliding Systems brand is trusted by global fire truck builders and brigades. We designed and manufacture the first, award winning, lightweight, non-corrosive GRP/aluminium tip down system to access high reach drawers.

We have developed the 6526 telescopic slide specifically for emergency vehicle drawers and carriers. This is a lightweight, non-corrosive, 340kg capacity slide, with aerospace 7075/T6 alloy beams and stainless 316L cross rollers for strength. Uniquely, we have heavy duty impact stops and wiper system to reduce dirt ingress into the raceways.

The Ultio brand of precision telescopic slides has been designed for emergency vehicles. Based upon the ‘C’ section design of heavy duty slides, we have used professionally extruded steel sections and aircraft grade beams in their construction. All slides have 304L stainless steel bearings and ball cages as standard to reduce corrosion. Stocked in high quantities in lengths up to 1000mm, the slides are interchangeable with other European manufacturers.
