The 7055 slide is part of the new ULTIO range of slides. Manufactured with state of the art production methods, ULTIO slides benefit from high quality materials including professionally drawn/rolled plated steel sections and stainless bearings to increase corrosion resistance. Our production capacity is market leading and we are in the process of implementing a global stock programme with our distribution partners. Due to investments in production capacity we can completely revolutionise the process which heavy duty, cold drawn steel slides have been manufactured in the past. The result is an excellent slide range which reflects the substantial investment we have made with our Group Company, Sliding Systems Asia. This means very large price downs for the end user and buy on line capability.
The 7055 slide is identical to the 7050 except with an over extension of 120%. This is a special, no cost feature designed to completely extract pump and generator carriers from emergency vehicles and facilitate a four-man lift. All fixing points and beams remain as per the 7050, there is a reduction in the ball cage length to accommodate the extra travel.
The 7055 slide is manufactured from professionally extruded cold drawn grade C45 carbon steel, with industry standard zinc passivate plating. The bearings and ball cages are made from 304 stainless steel for increased corrosion resistance. Load rating at 600mm is 387kg per extended pair. All ULTIO slides are interchangeable with other European manufacturers whilst offering higher quality at more competitive price points. Ultio 7055 slide weighs 9kg per metre.
The 7055 slide is tested at 10,000 operational cycles, with the slides spaced 1000mm apart. At 550mm length, with 660mm extension and SWL loading of 378kg, the slides deflect 22mm. Deflection is the measurement of drop taken at the full extension of the slides and influences the ease of operational forces to close and open the drawer. At 378kg loading the operational forces are 20-25kg. During testing, the drawer was stable without any side load movement or damage to the raceways, due to the high grade of steel used in the construction of the beams. We do not recommending increasing the load capacity of this slide beyond what is stated.
The 7055 slide can be purchased online, for global delivery by clicking the link below. The 7055 is stocked across all lengths, however please allow 8 weeks for OEM volumes or consult our sales engineers to confirm best availability.
