The TR7619 is the heaviest duty rolled steel slide on the market and can handle heavy duty loading to 300kg. It has been developed for special vehicle stowage systems which have until now required expensive, solid section slides. Under test conditions, this slide has outperformed similar products whilst offering 30% more load capacity.
This slide has been designed for commercial pick-up or utility vehicle drawer systems up to 1500mm deep with unique front access locking tabs.
Patented, sequential extension allows the slide to operate as a pair and release each beam in a controlled manner. This means greater load capacity with perfect ball cage alignment. Also and importantly, in fire truck manufacture, this means a lighter vehicle without the need to move to aluminium sections and associated heavy ball track wear. There are also considerable cost saving implications for vehicle builders and other OEMs.
Options are locked open/closed, bracketry and other mounting methods including customer specific requirements. The TR7619 slides are sold as single units so they can be matched with a locking and non-locking option to form a pair, but this is not recommended for vehicle usage. Pick-up drawers and other dynamic loads subject to shock and vibration should be secured by two locking slides.
Plating is bright zinc chromate as standard, with an optional black passivation. Designation: NEN - EN 12329-Fe/Zn5/F/T2. Layer thickness: Average 5µm. Corrosion resistance: Minimum 120 hours neutral salt spray (ISO-9227/ ASTM- B 117) before zinc corrosion (white) occurs. Dynamic load ratings are tested to 10,000 cycles. Please consult our sales engineers for further information.
TR7619 LOC is the fully locking version which can be used in combination with the TR7619 and is also available to purchase on the stock programme and are the only Thomas Regout products supplied AS SINGLE SLIDES (not pairs). This allows the locking and non-locking variants to be fitted as a pair.
