Aluminium Radial Rails are a cost effective but high quality benchmark in light to medium duty linear motion. The R22 profile differs from the range due to the compact size which sits neatly into the profile and is supported by steel bearings and Delrin rubbing strip. This is an ultra-lightweight modular linear system.
The R22 rail is supplied drilled as standard on lengths up to 1,000mm. We also supply the rail from stock cut to length up to 3,000mm which is undrilled. Centrelines are clearly marked for the customer to drill M3 C'sk fixing holes on bespoke lengths. We can also supply rail cut and drilled to customer own requirements upon request.
The carriers come in 3 bearing length with rubbing strip for increased stability. Steel bearings are fitted for strength and smooth movement. The carriers are supplied pre-loaded and fitted to each rail. Carriers can be detached from the rail due to sealed bearings.
Rails ve carriers are purchased separately and any quantity can be fitted per rail. If required, rails can be continuously joined. Loads stated are PER CARRIER (on both X & Y axis) and will be increased accordingly to how many are fitted and how they are mounted. The rail must be totally supported to achieve maximum loading. We can supply longer carriers, with extra bearings, for increased stability and load capacity upon request, subject to MOQ.
The R22 Rail fitted with carrier has a height of 22.5mm and a width of 16.5mm. The R22 3 bearing carrier has an individual load capacity of 100N. This is increased pro-rata by adding additional carriers.
Available ex-stock, usually on a same day despatch, the rails are supplied without end stops as standard. Upon customer request, we can manufacture these to drawing.
