En SKDTS-60 is designed to be mounted flat, particularly in marine stowage, as a base mount. Maximising strength from a small space envelope. The base beam has countersunk holes to secure into the floor, whilst the upper beam is threaded to drop a pump, generator or heavy drawer upon. The outer flanges milled around the beams not only increase load capacity but reduce potential for dirt ingress when operating on the indirect axis. The SKDTS slides are also suited to marine seating and military/shipborne stowage. They have a wide range of applications where torsional strength is paramount. As this slide is also available in interchangeable C45 steel (with optional stainless bearings), it can support heavier loads when full corrasion resistance is not required.
This is an extreme load/duty, full extension telescopic slide (42-120 kg/pair). At 550mm 1 pair has a full extension load capacity of 115 kg. Constructed from milled stainless steel sections, with machined ball tracks for accuracy, it has excellent levels of shock and vibration resistance. The slide beams, cages and ball bearings are manufactured from austenitic grade 316L (1.4404). End stop bolts and retaining pins are austenitic grade 304 (1.4301), completing the corrosion protection, There is the bespoke option to manufacture an all 316L product on higher production volumes.
Additional product variations can be produced with bespoke closed lengths, extensions and mounting options. The SKDTS-60 drawer slide may also be fitted in the major axis (upright). The load capacity will increase to equal standard SDTS mounting configuration. It can be supplied with a 120% extension, which will increase the deflection at full extension.
